Our Mission is to expose children to the Gospel of Christ by promoting understanding, involvement, and personal growth through praise and worship, Bible study, and prayer at the appropriate developmental level that will enable them have a meaningful personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to foster a need for personal evangelism within their realm of influence. Basically, what this means is:  we want to have Apostolic Church…on a kids’ level.

Services:

Our W.O.W. (Worship Our Way) services (for ages 5-12) are held on Wednesday evenings during Adult Bible Study to allow us to meet the spiritual needs of our students while enabling their parents to give full attention to Pastor Browning in the Adult Class. Our service is action-packed, full of high-energy music, drama, puppets, and object lessons all designed to foster personal growth and emphasize the need for a personal relationship with Christ.  W.O.W. is held on Wednesdays at 7:30 P.M.

Staff:

Our LifeKidz Children’s Ministry Staff, led by Alphus and Candis McGinnis, all love children, are passionate for God, and are dedicated to investing in our children. Bro. McGinnis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services and Counseling and a Master’s degree in Special Education.  He has worked as a targeted case manager for at-risk children as well as taught in the public education system for the last 8 years.  In addition, he and his wife, Candis, have worked with children in many different areas, from teaching Sunday School classes and Children’s Church, directing children’s choirs, Children’s Church crusades at our district Family Camp, as well as classes at Kentucky District Junior Camp and directing the Junior Camp Choir.  Bro. McGinnis has also taught classes at the Kentucky District Sunday School Teachers’ Seminar.
